Today is tomorrow in Thailand. Thailand is 12 hours ahead of KY. So it is Wed, Nov. 4th at 8:00 AM which of course, we all know is BOARD MEETING DAY!!!
Our understanding is today is the day that a sweet Thai lady is carrying our file to the Board Meeting. She will present our family for First Approval aka Travel Approval.
We are waiting on our last phone call of this process.
The call that tells us we are officially approved to travel to get Little M. The call that is supposed to come. The call that has taken almost 21 months to happen. And a lot of paperwork. And a lot trips to the UPS store. And a lot of prayers. And a lot of patience. And a lot of tears - some shed and many others held back. So we sit - what's it like - waiting on the last call? It's nerve-racking. I'm somewhat optimistic since they told us this was the plan but all the what ifs are in my head trying to take over. And of course, there is the unknown of when the call will come. Will Holt Sahathai email or UPS the approval? Will we have to wait until Monday for UPS or will we be told tomorrow? aaaah - who knows?
If they call, we leave in 3 weeks. We are ready to go. Sure a few more things need to be done and it sure would be nice if M's bedroom furniture would arrive before we go, but overall, I could leave tomorrow and be fine so here we are, once again, waiting on the phone to ring.
