#3 on The List

Today our documents have been in Thailand 10 months. We started this process 14 months ago.

We also received our quarterly update. We are #3 on The List. Barring an extremely small referral group or a referral group without girls, (neither of which I will think about until it happens) we will get our referral in June. While more waiting is an initial bummer, it takes only a glance at the babies who did get referred to their families to remember what this is all about.

Eventually, there will be no more wait, eventually it will be like Mia was always here and we will forget what life was like before this princess came into our life.

In the meantime - we'll celebrate with families who got referrals, we'll celebrate with families who travel to bring their child (or children) home and we'll learn more Thai!

My Little Man Turns 8 Years Old!

Happy Birthday Mark!!!

Mark is my goofy, sports loving, video game addicted, overly dramatic, always making us laugh, never know what's coming next child. He came into the world a little put off that we disturbed his cozy spot but quickly turned into a great baby - always laughing at his big brother, who believe it or not, couldn't get enough of him when he was born.

We took Mark to Disney World at 11 months - he was the best baby there.

He always hammed it up with the photographers.

He wasn't always a fan of the beach - all smiles but don't let the sand touch his toes.

He liked the idea of playing sports like his big brother. He thought he was big stuff!

Have your people call my people! Such a goof!

First day of school!

Always posing for the cameras!

My Little Camper!

He's acting surprised at his new bike (which he picked out a few days ago)

My toothless 8 year old! We're so proud of you!
